Meet Dr. Janice Bell

“My profession means the world to me. My talent for dentistry enables me to greatly improve the lives of my patients on a regular basis. Being a dentist is a major part of my identity and I am deeply committed to my patients by continuing my education, working directly with them, and serving as a knowledgeable resource to help them keep and maintain healthy teeth.

Dr. Janice Bell is passionate about serving the diverse population in her home State of New Jersey. She is most excited about doing implants and cosmetic procedures because she truly believes that dentistry can be transformative in a person’s life. Her mission is to give every patient the smile they deserve by providing high quality care and personalized attention.

Education and Experience

Dr. Bell fondly remembers her early childhood fascination with science. Post college, she wanted to combine her creative abilities, desire to serve her community and her love of the sciences—dentistry was the perfect fit!

Dr. Bell earned her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She then completed her general practice residency, a fellowship in geriatric dentistry, and the accredited 300-hour American Academy of Implant Dentistry course at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. This implantology specialty program provided her with a thorough understanding of diagnostic and treatment modalities to treat patients with implants. Dr. Bell specializes in single tooth, multiple teeth implant placement and bone grafting.

Dr. Bell is continuously expanding her expertise to provide her patients with a full range of services for patients who need it the most. She provides dental care for children, adults, and geriatric patients. She can support the care and maintenance of your WHOLE FAMILY. Thanks to her years of education and specialty training, Dr. Bell can craft stronger smiles that let patients speak, chew, and live with more confidently.

Outside the Office

Dr. Bell lives in South Orange with her loving husband, two sons, and two daughters. When she’s not in the office, she can be found swimming laps, in a library nook, or cooking from one of her favorite recipe books for her friends and family.

Dr. Bell is also involved with supporting the theatre department at the local Columbia High School, as her daughter is an avid member. She is committed to community and enjoys supporting the talented students of the MAPSO school district.
